About 8 months ago I moved away from the town where I had lived my entire life. The town where my family lives, and the majority of my friends. The town where my stamping customers all gathered regularly for classes, otherwise known as ‘girls night,’ otherwise known as ‘therapy!” You see, about two years ago I accidentally met my knight in shining armor on an online dating site. How wonderful, right? Fireworks went off and I couldn’t see anything but stars!!! The problem was (there’s always a problem, right?) that he happened to live three hours away. There were many struggles, life-altering decisions to be made, and lots of stress, but we decided to get married and that my daughter and I would move to northern Indiana to his home. I tell this story, because the card I’m sharing today makes me a little teary-eyed. You’ll understand when you see it. Let’s take a look at this card that I made with the Stampin Up From Our House To Yours stamp set, which is included in our 2019 Holiday catalog.
The sentiment on this card got me in the heart, and is the reason I purchased the From Our House To Yours stamp set on my first product pre-order. I absolutely love the cute little houses and all of their ‘trimmings’ which make it so easy to create homes or even villages. My favorite part of this stamp set, however, is the greetings. They include phrases like “Although our homes are miles apart…” “Our hearts are next door,” as well as “So glad we’re” “family” “friends” “neighbors” and “From Our House to Yours.” The set is absolutely perfect for those of you, like me, who have moved away from home but still have very special people who live there to whom you want to send holiday greetings. It would also be a very nice set to use for your loved ones who have moved away to other places.
