Stampin’ Up! Cat Punch Blog Hop Featuring the Stampin’ Up! Spooky Cat

12 Sep

Welcome to our third day of Product Spotlight Week! All week we’re featuring some fun new products from the Stampin’ Up! 2017 Holiday Catalog. Today’s highlight is the Cat Punch, and for my project, the Stampin’ Up! Spooky Cat stamp set. Whoever dreamed up this cat punch was an absolute genius!

First, let’s look at the Spooky Cat stamp set. It includes one stamp that coordinates with the Cat Punch.

Stampin' Up! Spooky Cat

You can also use the Cat Punch with our Spooky Night designer paper, like I did on this scrapbook page. The paper print matches up with the punch, so all you have to do is punch it out!

Moving on to today’s project, below is the spooky card I made!

Spooky Halloween card idea made with the Stampin' Up! Spooky Cat stamp set, Cat Punch and Woodland Embossing Folder

I embossed a piece of Spooky Night designer paper with the Woodland Embossing Folder. I lightly sponged black ink over the top. Then I stamped the cat and greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Spooky Cat stamp set and punched them out. I used the Classic Label Punch for the greeting.

Anna, thank you for sharing your great card. I suffer “tunnel vision” with my thoughts at times; it never occurred to me to use dsp with the embossing folders.
