Hello stampers! I have a quick question for you – are your Christmas cards finished and ready to mail out? If not…today’s post is for you. I’m sharing my best tips for mass producing cards, and whether your cards are ready or not, make sure to take a look. These tips can save so much time and make your card making experience more enjoyable. Let’s get started.
Overwhelmed With Making A Lot Of Cards?
Making a lot of cards can be overwhelming. I mean, let’s be honest… it can take an hour or two to make a single card. Therefore, making 20 cards, or 50 or 200 can just seem like A LOT. But when you choose a simple card design, use products that make the job easy for you, and break the process down into simple steps, you can really make a lot of cards in a snap. I’ll share how below!
Plan Ahead
When you’re going to need a lot of cards for Christmas or another occasion, it’s best to plan ahead. Can you make a few cards each month or several cards in two or three sittings? At the very least, make sure you have the supplies you’ll need on hand, so when the time comes, you don’t run out of cardstock, tape or ribbon!

Best Tips For Mass Producing Cards
Here it is…my list of best tips for making a lot of cards quickly!
- Clear a lot of space on your craft table or kitchen table
- Get rid of the idea that all the cards have to be the same
- Keep your design simple
- Batch prepare your card materials
- Stack layers to do two at once when you’re cutting, punching, and die cutting
- For embossing, you can often stack two layers of paper together when you run it through your Cut & Emboss machine. Emboss large pieces of paper, then cut them into strips to use on several cards.
- Use punches! Punches save so much time and make for nice looking cards.
- Spread it out. When all your materials are prepared, spread out your card bases and first layer pieces upside down. Apply adhesive to all pieces at once and attach them. Continue with your next layer.
- Tips for embellishing! Make sure to watch along with the video for tips on using ribbon on a lot of cards, and also for applying embellishments with the Take Your Pick tool.
- Tips for adhering! First, find adhesives that you LOVE. They will make the job easier. Is glue faster than tape? Can you use the Take Your Pick tool to apply foam dimensionals and remove the paper backing? Again…watch along with my video for tons of tips!

I have been watching your videos for a while. I just want to say that transparency is scary. Yet it is when we are transparent that God can use us. I love to be in the background and yet God places me in public places all the time. I am a pastor’s wife of a small congregation and play the piano. (kind of)
Last week it was discovered that I have a tumor by my knee that is most likely malignant. Scary? Yes. And yet I know that this is an opportunity to share Who God really is as I rely on Him. It’s encouraging to me that you are stepping out of your comfort zone to be obedient.
Boldness and courage is what we are called to. And yet it is one of the most challenging things for me as it sounds like it is for you as well.
Thank you for taking the challenge seriously. God works in us and through us. I’ll be praying that God will give you the words as you share. That you can relax and His Spirit will speak through you.
