Did you know you can personalize ribbon for your projects? Many times when I’m creating a card and I go to choose a ribbon to use on it, I can’t find one that matches perfectly. Since I’m working with Stampin Up products, I’ve gotten very used to things matching perfectly, and I like it! Here’s some good news – even if you don’t have the right color of ribbon, you can make it match perfectly. Let’s talk about how!

5 Ways To Personalize Ribbon

Here are five simple ways to personalize ribbons and make them match your project perfectly!

1. Color With Markers

Use regular markers or Blends alcohol markers which dry a little faster.

2. Create Designs With Markers

3. Press Ribbon Against Ink Pads

Keep your fingers clean by pressing with a piece of scrap paper.

4. Spritz With Color

Add a few drops of ink from an ink refill bottle, and either water or rubbing alcohol to a spritzer bottle. Spritz to add as much or as little color as you like.
