He’s a Traveling Man Card

3 Oct

I was having creative block when I was planning for my last class. I had already been doing fall, Halloween and Christmas projects at my classes and I didn’t want to wear out my customers on seasonal projects. Finally I settled on making a masculine card. We all need some cards in our collections for men, so that’s what I got to work on. Here is the traveling man card I came up with.

The Stampin’ Up! Traveler stamp set that I used is perfect for masculine cards. Here are the stamps that come in the set.

Stampin' Up! Traveler

This is what the card looks like on the inside.

After stamping the train onto the very vanilla cardstock (and before adhering it to the early espresso card base), I ran it through the Big Shot with two of the circle dies to make the circle cuts. Then when I attached the pieces to the card base, I attached the rectangular portion directly to the base using Snail adhesive, I used one layer of Stampin’ Dimensionals under the outer ring, and double stacked dimensionals under the center circle.
