2 Sep

Do you love ideas for using up your paper scraps? If so, I think you’ll love today’s paper scrap card idea. Let’s take a look!

Sample Quilt Cards

Just take a look at these beautiful designs I created using paper scraps to look like quilts! Aren’t they neat?

Quilt cards are the perfect way to use your paper scraps and make simple, yet beautiful card designs today!

I created a video to talk about these quilt scrap cards, and I would love for you to watch along.

Quilt Card Video Tutorial

Creating Quilt Cards

To create these cards, begin by trimming your scraps into squares, rectangles, or triangles of regular sizes. I used 1″ x 1″ squares, 1″ x 2″ or 3″ rectangles, and some 1 1/2″ squares cut into triangles for the Christmas card sample. Once your pieces are prepared, add adhesive to your cardstock and start placing the scraps over your card surface in any pattern you like.

Let’s take a closer look at the samples.

This one features the Bloom Where You’re Planted designer paper pack. Isn’t this pattern beautiful?
