Witty-cisms Stamp Set - Taco 'Bout Awesome!

Am I the only one overloaded with birthdays right now? Do any of you have a lot of birthdays packed into this time of year? Matt’s was 3 weeks ago, one of our sons was last week, my daughter’s was yesterday, and our other daughter and mine are both next week. I feel like all I’ve been doing is cooking and prepping for all the birthdays! For our kids, we have started allowing them to pick something they would like to do, just with Matt and I (no other kids allowed) instead of getting them a present. I’m really enjoying our experiences! We went axe throwing with Riley for his birthday. We were terrible at it, but it was a lot of fun! We are taking Kelsey to build a doll that looks like her, and Makenna wants to go to the indoor trampoline park. Lots of fun! Obviously, I need a lot of birthday cards this time of year, and the one I’m sharing today is great for kids birthdays or many other occasions too. I made it with our new Witty-cisms stamp set, which is a new favorite. Take a look!

This was a project for my recent Stamp Camp, and I kept it very simple to make. It is a gate fold card, meaning that it opens in the front center instead of on the right hand side. I added some designer paper and the Taco ‘Bout Awesome stamp, and that was it! Take a look at the amazing stamps included in the Witty-cisms stamp set.

I was talking to a new stamper at Stamp Camp about the fact that this is an awesome stamp set for beginning stampers, because it covers a lot of bases. It’s perfect for birthdays, but also great for other occasions – baby, thank you, congrats, graduation, and retirement.

I made this exact same card but used blue designer paper and the Lookin’ Sharp cactus stamp for Riley, who always has his hair just so and likes to sport new shoes on a regular basis. It was perfect for him!
