Sweet Pea Baby Card

11 Dec

Today I have another sneak peek of some adorable products coming in the new Occasions catalog! I’m highlighting two in particular today – the It’s My Party designer series paper stack pack and the Friends & Flowers stamp set. Put them together and we have a cute little sweet pea baby card.

Before I forget to mention it, don’t forget that the Year-End Sale is going on. Check it out here.

First let’s talk about the stamp set. It includes this perfect little pea stamp which I punched out using the Festive Flower Builder punch. Also included in the Friends & Flowers stamp set are other adorably cute things that coordinate with the same punch including flower petals, fish and bunny ears.

The ‘born to be loved’ greeting came from the Groovy Love stamp set.

Next let’s talk paper. I am so excited about the It’s My Party paper pack. First of all, it’s really fun and cute. At first glance it looks like fun bright colors perfect for a party. Flip through it again and you’ll notice some muted colors in fun patterns like those I used here.

Second, you get 48 sheets of double sided paper for just $26. That’s four times the normal amount of paper for just over double the price! Who doesn’t love a deal?

I used a lot of punches on this card. It’s so quick and easy to make a project when you have a good assortment of punches. These are the ones that I used – 2 3/8″ scallop circle, 2″ circle, festive flower builder, word window, triple banner and banner.
