Stampin Up Spooktacular Bash Sneak Peek!

7 Aug

Hey everyone, welcome to my second day of 2019 Stampin Up Holiday Catalog Sneak Peeks! Yesterday I shared a Snow Globe Christmas card that I’m crazy about, and today we’re going to switch gears to Halloween. Tell me…do you love Halloween? I know many of you absolutely do, and some not so much. That’s ok, even if you don’t love Halloween, just play along for a little while. I made today’s card and treat box with the Monster Bash suite of products that includes the Stampin Up Spooktacular Bash stamp set and Ornate Frames dies. Take a look!

I’m tickled pink (or maybe purple and green) about how these turned out. Let’s take a closer look. Here’s the card!

I stamped the mummy and the greeting using the Spooktacular Bash stamp set. I colored the mummy using my Stampin’ Write and Blends markers, then I cut out both the mummy and the greeting with the Ornate Frames dies. These dies are to die for!! Hehe! I love how ornate they are. They’re perfect for Halloween, but they are going to be so amazing for pretty all-occasion cards too!

That glittered organdy ribbon is actually in our annual catalog. It seemed perfect for these projects. It adds just the perfect sparkle! Ok, now let’s look at this coffin treat box!

The treat boxes come premade in our new holiday catalog. You can get a pack of 12 for $7. They’re perfect for your Halloween treats for family members, grandkids, neighbor kids, your child’s school party, your own Halloween party and more! All you have to do is attach adhesive to the corners, then fold them up. I used Tear and Tape adhesive for the bottom of the box and glue dots for the top, since those corners were smaller. I definitely recommend using something stronger than Snail to hold them together.

I simply folded up the boxes and then decorated them. They would be great to hold small candy bars, snack mix, or small candies.

Here’s one more look!

Cute projects. Where might I find the measurements for the cardstock and DSP used for the card? Thank you.
