Stampin Up Peace & Joy Projects

18 Aug

Christmas is four months away, but it’s always time for Christmas crafting! There are always Christmas photos needing put in those scrapbooks, and if you plan to send cards, it’s nice to prepare ahead of time. Today I have two cards and a scrapbook page made with our new Stampin Up Peace & Joy stamp set. They’re very fun and festive. Take a look!

Take a look at these simple cards and scrapbook page using the Stampin Up Peace & Joy Bundle in the 2020 August-December Mini Catalog.

Let’s first talk about the stamps and dies I used on these projects, and then we will look closer at the projects themselves.

The Bundle Set

The Peace & Joy stamps include large, handwritten words which are the perfect focal point for your projects. The large words, ‘Bright’ ‘Peace’ and ‘Joy’ can be paired up with the smaller greeting stamps Happy, Merry, Christmas, Sending, And, On Earth, To You And Yours, and To The World. When stamped on a small strip of paper, these small stamps make such a nice addition to the large beautiful words.

In addition, we have the Joy dies which include matching dies for the words Bright, Peace, and Joy. I love that they include a thin and delicate version of each word, along with two larger sizes that can be used as mats.

There are a lot of ways to mix and match these items. You can just stamp the large words, just use die cuts, or mix both. You could use the largest die cut, stamp the word on top, then place a delicate die cut on top. So many options!

Card Samples

Here are two card samples I made using the Stampin Up Peace & Joy set. The first one is a very quick and easy project using just stamps.

For the next card I also used the dies for a stepped up version. I just love this one!

Scrapbook Page

I also created a simple scrapbook page. I did a little stamping, then decided to add some red cardstock. When I checked my scrap collection, I had a pile of these red strips, so I decided to use them!
