Stampin Up Circle Sayings

11 Dec

Today we’re taking a look at several fun and unique ideas for using your basic shape punches. These products are a staple in many craft collections, and I want to share some ideas for using them. I created my card samples with the Stampin Up Circle Sayings bundle, which is one I would recommend to any stamper, especially new crafters starting out. Let’s get started!

Punch Techniques For Card Designs

Here are some creative ways to use punches!

1. Punch Holes And Stamp Through

Just punch a few holes in your top layer, then stamp through them onto your card base.

4. Cut Punches In Half And Decorate

For the card on the left, I attached one of the shapes at each corner. I used the pieces to create fun borders on the card shown at right.

5. Create A Spinner Card

These are fun because when the recipient opens it, the small piece will spin around! Watch the video or click here for details.

6. Mosaic Background

I created this card a while back for a different tutorial, but it fits in well with today’s topic. You can cover the card with your basic shapes stamps or punches too. Such a simple background!
