Stampin Up Bottled Happiness & A Tip To Add Something A Little Extra!

5 May

Welcome, and thanks so much for stopping in. When you’re creating cards, do you ever look at them and think, “It needs something else?” I do this all the time, so I would imagine I’m not the only one. Today I’ll share a quick tip for adding something a little extra, and then a bonus tip for stepping up your stamping with multiple colors on the same stamp. These cards use the new Stampin Up Bottled Happiness stamp set, a brand new release now available for ordering along with our new Annual Catalog. Let’s take a look!

Card Need Something Extra? Video

Watch along here as I demonstrate two tips for stepping up your card projects!

Stampin Up Bottled Happiness Bundle

The Bottled Happiness bundle includes the stamps to create this cute card below, and a bottle punch is also included which I didn’t use on this card.

Are you curious about those pretty cards and envelopes? I used the Tea Boutique cards and envelopes set. I love these! Plus, they match our new In Colors.

Tip For Adding Something Extra

My tip for today is pretty simple – just grab a punch, punch out the greeting, attach the main piece directly to your card, and pop up the greeting! It adds a little something, and saves paper compared to punching your greeting out separately.

Bonus Tip

I decided to share another tip, since this stamp set is perfect for it. I wanted my flower bouquet to have more colors, so I mounted the flower stamp to my Stamparatus, then colored a few flowers with a marker. I stamped it, then colored a few more flowers with a different color. I repeated this until I had stamped both leaves and flowers.
