Stampin’ Up! A Round Of Hellos

19 Mar

Welcome stampers! Do you ever get stuck with how to create a card design using just one or two small stamps? Today I want to share some great card ideas for how to turn those little stamps into a complete card design. I am using the Stampin’ Up! A Round of Hellos stamp set. Let’s take a look at them.

Video tutorial

Watch along here as I create these fun card designs.

Featured Stamps

Here you can see the stamps that I used on these cards. I love that these designs coordinate with circle dies and punches.

Here is a card I created a while back using these stamps for one of my team craft nights.

Now let’s take a look at today’s cards.

Mosaic Cards

The idea for these cards is to use one or several stamps and stamp them repeatedly across the background of the card. Let’s take a look at the cards that I created.

Are you stumped how to make a card using one stamp in your collection? Click to see six examples of mosaic cards made with the Stampin' Up! A Round Of Hellos Stamp Set to inspire you!

For the two cards below, I used the half circle stamp repeatedly. The card on the left uses one of the greeting stamps intermixed with the half circle, while the one on the right uses the flower and a circular greeting.

These cards feature a repeat flower design. I LOVE the flower design on the left side. You’ll see another similar design again in a moment. The flower card on the right uses two different greeting stamps intermixed with the flowers.

Here you can see another circular flower design, similar to the one above, but this one is slightly different. The card on the left uses a basic repeat design, with one area stamped darker and the rest lighter. The card on the right is slightly different with a decorative scoring technique used to divide the mosaic pattern. Notice anything funny about the card on the right?!

I could have spent all day creating mosaic cards with this stamp set, but I had to make myself stop after creating these six. Imagine all the possibilities!
