Stamparatus Accessories Now Available and the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Promenade Stamp Set

2 Oct

You’re hearing from me two days in a row!! That’s right, get used to it, because I’m back! Stampin’ Up! has a lot going on this week, so I’ll try to cover the news briefly so that we can get on to today’s project! First, all week we are celebrating World Cardmaking Day with the best thing out there – a sale! Second, Stamparatus accessories are now available! Read on to learn more about the Stamparatus, and see some pretty thinking of you cards made using the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Promenade stamp set.

First…the World Cardmaking Day sale! These items are 10% off the marked prices for this week only.

I know the photos are small, so click the photo above or here to start shopping the sale.

Next…Stamparatus accessories are now available! What is the Stamparatus you might ask? An amazing stamping platform that will make your life better! Really! Get up to speed on the Stamparatus with this video, or keep reading.

So…if you don’t have a Stamparatus, I strongly encourage you to check it out. I love mine! No more crooked words, lines around my stamps, or smudges!

I mentioned above that accessories for the Stamparatus are now available. To those of you who already own a Stamparatus, do any of you need new or extra magnets? What about having a couple of extra clear plates, so that you can have extra stamps prepared and waiting for your next project? Have you had problems stamping with photopolymer stamps? Order an extra foam pad and your troubles will be gone. We also have 6×6″ grid paper to keep any stray ink off your pad!!Need more magnets or an extra foam pad? Stamparatus Accessories are Now Available!Shop Stamparatus and accessories here.

So let’s get on with it and see a project I made with the Stamparatus. Here is one of the finished cards.

Isn’t it lovely? It features the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Promenade stamp set pictured below. This set includes a combination of beautiful flowers and beautiful-er sayings.

Stampin' Up! Beautiful Promenade Stamp Set for Thinking of You Cards

Here’s how I made my project. I opened up the plates on the Stamparatus, placed my cardstock in the corner (I forgot to place the magnets on to hold in place) and laid the stamps where I wanted them.

Here’s a close up. Next, I folded the top plate down and pressed to adhere it to the stamps.

I raised the top plate back up (with stamps attached), and used my Blackberry Bliss ink pad upside down to ink the stamps.

Here are the stamps, already inked.

Next I folded the plate down, pressed on top of the stamps to stamp the image, and raised the plate back up. As you can see in the photo below, the very top of the words didn’t stamp because I hadn’t fully inked the stamp. You would almost think I did this on purpose. Never fear…I just needed to reink the stamp and stamp again. The placement will be perfect!

Here you can see the end result after I stamped again. I got a very dark purple color after stamping Blackberry Bliss twice. I didn’t mind the dark color and was so happy to have a perfect image even after I messed it up!

Next I laid the second flower stamp in the correct place on the cardstock, and folded the right plate over to adhere the stamp.

I opened up the right plate and inked the stamp with Calypso Coral ink.

Then I stamped it! Beautiful huh?

This was so easy, I just had to make a few more! At that point it was easy peasy! Aren’t the cards shown below lovely? I paired the stamped images with Calypso Coral ink and Tea Room designer series paper.

If I haven’t already said this, I absolutely love the phrases in the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Promenade stamp set. They are fantastic for those experiencing hard times. Below you can see the insides of the cards. I made each one different.

Do you know anyone deserving of a card made with the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Promenade stamp set? Unfortunately, I know a LOT of people who could use these cards right now. I got a good start on making them with these four.
