School Days Card

26 Aug

School days are back, and so is a School Days TGIF challenge. I was thinking today that two years from now, my ‘Tater Tot’ as I call her, will probably be starting with Pre-K. I’m sure time will fly by and it will be here before I know it. For now I will enjoy our days of ‘Book! Book!,’ swinging, sliding, household chores, and messes…lots of messes.

So like I said, my project today is for this week’s TGIF challenge.

I was excited for a theme-based challenge, which is different from the challenges I have participated in before. This was definitely a good challenge because browsing through my stamping supplies, I had a hard time finding anything school-related. Then I found the Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper pack. It gave me a little inspiration to get started on my school days card.

I thought the apple turned out cute, and the Epic Alphabet stamp set that I used has been a favorite of mine for a while now.
The kids may not be excited for school to be starting back up, but I’m guessing there are a few moms out there who are extremely excited. Am I right??

Your card is so cute. I love the paper pack that you used and how your tied it up with the pretty red/white twine. Check out the back to school challenge over at Classy Cards N Such blog. Your card qualifies for this challenge. I hope you will come over and enter your card. (classycardsnsuch.com)

    Have a great weekend.
