Over the next few weeks I’ll feature some of my favorite items that will be leaving us forever. For today, I’m sharing a cute shaker card I made with the Stitched With Cheer stamp set (retiring), Merry Tags Thinlits (retiring and 50% off) and This Christmas designer series paper.
As soon as I saw the Merry Tags Thinlits set, I knew I wanted to make a shaker card with it. If you look at the center of the card, I cut one of the winter scenes in white, one in Soft Suede, and one in Garden Green. Then I pieced them together and turned it into a shaker card.
Here is a close up of that monster buck. It’s deer hunting season here in Ohio, so ‘monster bucks’ are on the minds of many a hunter this week.
I always seem to have a problem with adding too much filler material to my shaker cards. I piled in the glitter the first time, then had to open it back up and dump some out because I couldn’t see the deer!
