Little Moments Baby Cards using Project Life

25 Apr

I’m continuing to highlight some fantastic retiring products that are going to be gone so soon. I didn’t have a lot of time to work on today’s project, so I needed something quick and easy to ‘throw together.’ Project Life cards to the rescue!

If you aren’t familiar with Project Life, you should check it out. It’s designed to be a quick and easy way to complete scrapbook albums. Here’s a rundown of how it works…start with clear pocket pages, slide your photos into some of the pockets and fill the other pockets with cute Project Life cards. Decorate if you like with stamps and embellishments. That’s all!

The Project Life card collections were designed, as I said, to be inserted into pocket pages. However, they can be used as cute decorations or journaling boxes on regular scrapbook pages. They can also be used to make some super cute and easy cards, which is what I did with them for today’s project. Here are some of the cards that come in the Little Moments card collection I used. The opposite side of each card has another design on it.

I got out my Project Life cards, flipped through them and pulled out a few I liked. I did a little trimming, attached them together, and put them on a card base. Add a baker’s twine bow and some Hodgepodge Clips and they’re done!

I’m really happy with these, considering how little work it was to put them together!

Four of our current Project Life card kits and accessories are on the retiring list. The Hodgepodge clips I used are also retiring. Click below to see them and shop.

I would love to know what other great uses you have found for Project Life cards. Comment below and tell me!
