Three days until Christmas! I hope you’re almost ready! I think I’m finally getting myself together. Tonight I need to wrap presents, and tomorrow the family gatherings begin. Today I want to share a quick gift idea with you – a simple decorated journal.
The church I attend adopts a local family for Christmas and the children in the family make requests for what they want to receive. One of the gift requests I picked up was for a diary for a pre-teen girl.
I got this journal at the dollar store, then spruced it up using our Flower Patch stamp set and Flower Fair Framelits. I thought the ‘Be you {tiful}’ stamp was absolutely perfect for a young girl. We need to start a revolution of seeing ourselves as beautiful, instead of anything but. I digress…
I attached the ribbon using Tear & Tape adhesive and the flowers using Fast Fuse. Hopefully these tough adhesives will keep the pieces attached for the duration.
