It’s a Starry Night with Stampin Up Perfectly Plaid

10 Aug

It’s the weekend! Will you have any time for crafting today or tomorrow? What about Christmas cards? Have you started any yet? If you have already started making your Christmas cards, send me a message. I want to know! And if you have, way to go because that’s awesome! I have a beautiful Christmas card idea for you today that is made with products that will be released September 4 in our Holiday Catalog. If Christmas isn’t on your radar yet, check back tomorrow because I’ll have a really neat fall card! As for today’s card, it features the Stampin Up Perfectly Plaid stamp set and coordinating Pine Tree Punch. What do you think?

Even though I just mentioned the stamp set and punch, I want to talk first about that designer paper in the background. That, my friends, is called Feels Like Frost designer paper. It is one of our 6″ x 6″ paper packs, and this print is equally as gorgeous as the rest. I think this paper pack is going to be a cornerstone of my Christmas card making this year. I plan to choose a gorgeous print, add a greeting and embellishment, and my cards (or some of them at least) will be done as easy as that.

Now that we have covered that background print, let’s talk about the stamp set and punch. Like I said, it’s the Stampin Up Perfectly Plaid stamp set and coordinating Pine Tree Punch. The stamp set includes 4 different tree designs, as well as pine cones and some festive greetings. I used our new metallic silver ink (I’m so excited for this I could squeal!) on white cardstock to stamp the trees, then punched them out. It needed a little contrast, which is where the silver foil trees came in.

Silver edge ribbon and some frosted epoxy droplets made perfect embellishments. Also, I should mention the greeting. I chose not to use a greeting from the Perfectly Plaid set, because I needed something a little more elegant. The greeting I chose is from our Light & Peace stamp set, one of our gorgeous religious sets in this upcoming catalog.

I created an account and wanted to order the stamps & paper to make this card, but I get an error stating I haven’t claimed my rewards or something like that. How do I order these supplies from you?
    Thanks
