Here’s my big welcome to our new In Color for 2015-2017…Cucumber Crush. Isn’t this pretty? Now I’ll be honest, when I saw the new In Colors, this one was NOT my favorite. I have learned, however, that if I don’t like something I need to try it out. So I tried it, and I love it!
Both the background and the greeting stamps came from the I Think You’re Great stamp set, being added to our product line this coming Tuesday! I used some designer paper from the Cherry On Top designer paper stack, which I can tell is going to be a favorite. Check out yesterday’s donut card that I made from this same paper pack.
I added some dotted lace trim with knot – much simpler than a bow for those of you (like me) who have bow problems! The greeting was stamped with Watermelon Wonder, another new In Color. The brad bases with candy dots on top are actually Tangerine Tango because we don’t have them to match the In Colors. You wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t told you, right?
Like I said, Cucumber Crush was NOT my favorite color when I first saw it. It’s that whole change thing we have to get used to. I know my greens and I like my greens and this green was trying to rock the boat. Now that I’ve used it I love it!
