ICS Blog Hop Fall Fun

5 Oct

It’s time for some fun…fall fun…spooky fun! It’s Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop Time, and our theme is Fall Fun!

ICS Blog Hop

I decided to make a spooky fall fun project for Halloween using our fantastic pumpkin pie glimmer paper.

I used the Halloween Scenes thinlit set to cut out these fantastic spooky images. Instead of using plain black, I used black in front of smoky slate to add some extra dimension.

What do you think about the pumpkin pie glimmer paper? I think it’s FABULOUS!!! Imagine me saying that with a spooky witch’s voice, then cackling afterwards eeeeheheeehee!!!

Here’s a little tip to create the messy thread look shown below. Put a dimensional down on your card, then begin attaching the thread one piece at a time. Loop it, stick a piece of thread down to secure that loop, then move on to the next loop. Many times I see people trying to make the whole mess in their fingers, then stick it all down at once. The way I suggested seems to make it more manageable.

I hope you have some Halloween fun planned for later this month! I can’t wait to get my daughter’s costume put together. I bought the supplies today so now I can start crafting! I’ll make sure to share pictures of her on Trick-or-Treat night later this month!

Thanks for hopping along! Click below to continue on to Deb’s blog and see what fun fall project she has to share!
