I don’t know about you, but I love wide, open spaces. I grew up on a farm, and for the majority of my life I have lived at least a quarter of a mile from my closest neighbor. Here in Indiana, we have a few neighbors nearby, but we still have plenty of open space surrounding our house. When I opened up my previous home for crafters to use for retreats, I had a feeling the wide open space would be a major draw, and it has been. There’s just something amazing about getting away from humans and the work of humans, and enjoying peace and quite in nature! Today’s project gives the effect of a mini escape to somewhere with wide, open spaces, without the time or expense of leaving your home. I made this with our lovely new mountain stamp and die set. The name of the set I used to make this is the Stampin Up Mountain Air stamp and die set. In the photo below, you can see the stamps included in the set. This is one of our Reversibles sets, meaning that the same stamp can be used to stamp an image on one side and another image when you reverse it on your acrylic block. Take a look at the stamp case cover below. You can see that one image is printed in black and a coordinating image is printed in gray. Both images are able to be stamped with the same stamp, depending on which way you attach it to your block.
