Card Making Tags – Best Tips For Having Tags On Hand At All Times!

8 May

Hello friends and welcome. I love sharing tips and tricks with you and today I want to share some awesome tips related to card making tags. I’ve shared before that I love to have a tag box on hand with premade sentiment tags that are ready to put onto cards, and today I want to share a few more tips that can help you be ready with greeting tags at all times. Let’s get started.

Always have card making tags on hand and ready! Click to see three tips for always having tags ready, including having an organizer box to sort your tags!

Watch along here for all the great information! Stick around until the end for a bit of encouragement if you struggle with feeling like you don’t fit in!

Best tips for keeping card making tags on hand at all times

1. Use a tag box.

I have a fishing tackle box that has removable dividers that allows me to sort my tags by occasion, such as birthday, congratulations, thinking of you, etc. This is so very helpful when I’m trying to make cards quickly and just want to pull out a quick greeting instead of having to make one.

2. Choose bundles that allow you to make tags quickly.

The new More Messages bundle is my absolute favorite! We had a similar stamp and die set like this a few years ago and it was revolutionary in building up my tag collection. This set includes one stamp that has 19 greetings on it, along with one die that cuts them all out at one time.

In the video for today, I shared how I used this set and stamped twice, lined them up on top of each other, and cut them all with one crank through my Cut & Emboss machine. You could literally make hundreds of tags in minutes with this set.

3. Basic shapes punches and dies

My third tip is to use basic shapes, dies, and punches to create a lot of tags in a short amount of time. You can lay multiple dies on your die cutting platform, and with double layered paper and one crank through your machine, you can cut a lot of tags quickly. Use your favorite sentiment stamp set or a combination of lots of different stamps to prepare these and have them ready, or you can leave them blank and stamp them as needed for specific projects.
