Botanical Blooms Wedding Card

16 Jan

It’s been so long since I’ve used the Botanical Blooms bundle that I just had to get my hands back on it! I found a few minutes to check out some current cardmaking challenges, and decided to participate in these two, this week’s Pals Paper Arts color challenge and Freshly Made Sketches. Here are the colors and sketch I was using when I created my botanical blooms wedding card.

I wanted to replace the star in the sketch above with some of those gorgeous flowers from the Botanical Builder framelits die set. Also, I chose to use the It’s My Party designer paper pack because it coordinates perfectly with the colors in the Pals Paper Arts challenge. Here’s what I put together.

Aren’t the prints from the It’s My Party paper pack a lot of fun?

And what about those flowers? I’m in love with the Botanical Builder dies!!!

I’m sure you’ve noticed the lovely glimmer on the flowers. It’s compliments of our new Wink of Stella glitter brush. If you haven’t seen or used one yet, here’s what you need to know: glitter, fast, with no mess. Woohoo!

Anna – What a great combination of these two challenges! You’ve balanced these colors perfectly for a sweet congrats card. Love it! Thank you so much for playing along with my Color Challenge at the Pals Paper Arts this week – so nice to have you playing along.

Thank you! I wanted to send you a personal hello. I was on the Rising Star trip and got to Skype with you, even though you probably could barely see us. I see pictures of you and Candy on Facebook sometimes, so anyway, I just wanted to say hi. Maybe we’ll get to meet in person sometime!

Anna, your card is STUNNING! In reading your remarks to Brian I can see there is good reason for such a lovely and classy submission. I also love the dies for the flowers as well as the edging die using the leaves… so versatile! I hope to see more of your wonderful talent in future PPA challenges!
