Hi stampers! Don’t you love receiving happy mail? Mail is just so…boring…these days, except when I receive a handmade card. It’s always such an exciting feeling when I see my monthly Paper Pumpkin kit arrive, so after I received it the other day, I just had to open it up and create with it. Let’s take a look at the August 2022 Paper Pumpkin kit. I think you’re going to love it!

In this video I’ll share each of the projects I created, show what came in the kit, and explain it all!
Kit Contents
I forgot to take a photo of the kit contents, but it came with 9 card bases, beautiful matching envelopes, lots of die cuts, two ink spots – Crushed Curry and Soft Suede, a nice stamp set, and adhesives. In addition, this kit included a bonus gift of some beautiful gold foil honeycomb overlays. You’ll see them featured below!
Suggested Projects
I created the three cards below as shown in the kit instructions. These were very simple to create and I think they are just stunning.
August 2022 Paper Pumpkin Alternative Card Ideas
Then I went on to create three alternative card ideas, and you can see them below. I used the honeycomb elements on these. Aren’t they just lovely? All of the materials shown were included in the kit except for the Parakeet Party Metallic Woven Ribbon. I thought it added the perfect touch to these cards.
Scrapbook Page
In addition, I created a scrapbook page using the sunflower stamps and die cuts and a piece of Sun Prints designer paper.
Framed Art
I also created this cute blackboard display using a frame I picked up at the dollar store. The quote on the front is from a stamp included in the Stepping Stones stamp set.
