Bohemian Wishes

18 May

I have to admit, when I saw this Bohemian designer series paper for the first time, I didn’t have warm feelings inside. Sometimes I see a new product and immediately love it. My feeling when I saw this paper was something like, ‘Ewww.’ Sorry if that offends anyone, but it’s just not my style.

But then…I saw a sample project in our soon-to-be-released catalog that was made with this paper. Our wonderful Stampin’ Up! folks understand that sometimes we have to see samples to really understand how to use a product and to appreciate it. Well they got me when I saw the sample project. It suddenly had more appeal.

I ordered a pack of the Bohemian paper through our sampling program and when it arrived I just had to make something with it! Just to prove that it can be beautiful! I paired it with the Friendly Wishes stamp set and some Blackberry Bliss cardstock and here is the result!

Bohemian Friendly Wishes Stampin' Up!

I was so happy that I received the new In Color markers with my sampling of new products because I was able to use the marker to stamp technique to color the stamp for my greeting various colors, rather than inking it with just one color on an ink pad.

Bohemian Wishes

Like I said, this paper is not my style, but when I got it done, I LOVE it! Here’s your challenge for this week- make something using a product you don’t like very well and see how it turns out! Comment below and let me know how it goes!

Sharing is caring!
