A Simple Snowman Christmas Card

3 Oct

Happy Wednesday! You know what time it is? It’s time for me to share a Christmas card idea! And it’s not just any Christmas card, it’s a cute, jolly, cheery snowman Christmas card. I’ve been making tons of Christmas cards, so it’s time I start sharing some with all of you! Today’s project is quick and easy, and would be perfect for mass production if you send out a lot of cards during the holidays. I made it featuring the Stanta’s Workshop  designer series paper assortment, then added a cheery greeting from the Making Christmas Bright stamp set. Simple Stampin' Up! Speaking of Christmas cards, I did a card class during lunch yesterday for some ladies in the office next to where I work. I dropped off some card making supplies, gave them a little direction, and let them run. They get to play with my supplies the next few days during lunch. I can’t wait to see what they come up with! It’s so much fun to see beginning stampers’ excitement!

Quick note- don’t forget about the World Cardmaking Day Sale this week only!

As for today’s card, as I mentioned the designer papers are from the Santa’s Workshop paper pack. I love the snowman, holly, and green dashed prints that I chose to use on my card, but you can’t really appreciate the Santa’s Workshop paper pack without seeing the entire set. Here she is:

Adorable, right? Even better than these cute prints…they’re flocked. Yes, flocked! You know what I’m talking about right? The white, velvety, fabric-like material? For example, on the diagonal peppermint striped paper, the entire white part shown is flocking. It’s SO much better than just plain white paper! You have to feel it to believe it!

I used the papers shown above, then I needed a nice little greeting stamp. I chose ‘Making Spirits Bright’ from the Making Christmas Bright set. Here you can see what comes in the set. It coordinates with our Christmas Bulb Builder Punch!
