A Totally Trees Fall Card

20 Sep

Fall is almost officially here. Almost. In my home, fall has been here since Labor Day. That’s when I put the summer decorations away and got out the fall ones. I think I have almost as many fall decorations as what I have Christmas. Probably because I love fall (wait, have you ever heard me say that before??). Anywho, I like to have general purpose cards in my collection for all occasions, so I put this one together as a project for my Holiday Catalog kickoff party a few weeks ago. I used the Totally Trees stamp set and Petals & Paisley designer paper for a quick and easy project.

I pulled the color scheme from the Petals and Paisley paper pack – Cajun Craze, Delightful Dijon, Soft Suede, Rich Razzleberry, and Mint Macaron. I would have never picked these colors myself, but I love them together.

The greeting below is one of my favorites, because it works for almost every occasion – birthdays, thinking of you, hello, just because, get well, congrats. I probably wouldn’t use it for a sympathy card, but otherwise, ‘Sending wishes your way,’ covers most other occasions. It comes from the Butterfly Basics stamp set.
