What better way to brighten someone’s day than with a bright, cheery orange card? Citrus in general is just uplifting, isn’t it? I decided to go with oranges for this card, but you could easily make lemons or limes using the same stamp from the Apple of My Eye stamp set. Better yet, you could make lemons, limes AND oranges on the same card. That sounds fun. I’m getting distracted. Back to today’s orange card.
I love having a selection of Stampin’ Up! punches on hand. I use them ALL the time. For this card, I used the 1 3/4″ circle, 2″ circle and 2 3/8″ scallop circle.
To make the smeared background, I rolled up a baby wipe and placed drops of So Saffron, Daffodil Delight and Tangerine Tango ink all along the roll. Then I just wiped it back and forth across the cardstock.
