Owl Santa Card

16 Dec

Just in case you forgot or haven’t heard yet, Stampin’ Up’s Year-End Sale is going on and there are awesome deals on fantastic products! Check it out here.

Stampin' Up! Year End Sale

Today I decided to highlight a few of the products that are on sale and I used them in a way you might not expect. I used the Howl-O-Ween Treat stamp set and Boo to You framelits dies, designed primarily for Halloween projects, to make this adorable little owl Santa.

I used the Boo to You framelits to cut all of the pieces for the owl and bag, except for Santa’s beard. To make his beard I started with a white cut out of the hat shape and did a little fussy cutting to get it to my liking.

Who knew that the die shape for a skull would also look like Santa’s toy bag, and that a spider is also a great shape for the ball on Santa’s hat? I love finding ways to use products that you wouldn’t normally think of! If you have any unique ideas like this I would love to see them!

Remember, the Howl-O-Ween Treat stamp set, Boo to You framelits and Winter Wonderland designer series paper are all on sale from now until January 4 or while supplies last! Use the links below to start your shopping. Use hostess code Y4HGVHEJ when you order and I will send you a free gift! Even better, sign up for stamp club and you will get free projects and free stamps!

Sharing is caring!
