Stampin’ Up! Phrases & Frames Bundle & Banner Bonanza!

11 Jun

I love taking one small tool or product and finding a ton of different ways to use it on my card projects. That is what we are doing today with the Three Banner Punch. You can use the punch as I did, or create your own banners and use them in a ton of creative ways which I will share below. I’m also highlighting the new Stampin’ Up Phrases & Frames bundle, which is truly gorgeous. Let’s get started.

Video Tutorial

Watch along here to see lots of fun ideas for using banners on your projects. Don’t forget to comment on the video to be entered to win my giveaway for this week!

Stampin’ Up! Phrases & Frames Bundle

This is a gorgeous stamp and die set for making lovely greeting tags with stunning frames. The die set pairs with our new impressions plate to both cut and emboss.

I also used the Three Banner Punch for today’s projects. This is one of my most-used punches. It creates these cute little banners, which I’m sharing a lot of different ways to use. Keep in mind if you do not have this punch, I shared some tips at the beginning of the video for cutting your own banners by hand.

Ideas For Using Banners To Decorate Your Card Projects

Let’s take a look at the cards that I created. We will talk about each one individually, and I’ll share how I used the banner punches in different ways on each card.

Layered Frames Card

Banner Tip – Use two tiny banners to create the look of a ribbon hanging out beneath a card element.

Hanging Banner Card

Banner Tip – Use twine and several banners to make a hanging banner.

Simple Frames Card

Banner Tip – Make long banners, score them 3/4″ and 1″ from each end, and fold to add dimension.

Another Frames Card

Banner Tips – I used banners in two different ways on this card. I used three banners near the top corner for a fun decoration, and I also used two of them sticking out horizontally from the greeting tag.

Which idea for using banners on your card project is your favorite? Comment and tell me!

I really enjoy your videos, and the things you say to make us think about our lives. I have not used a lot of banners, but after your video I probably will use more. I appreciate you.
