Budget Friendly Card Designs With Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Layers!

Welcome stampers! Is your card making budget as big as your wish list? I know mine isn’t! I could buy supplies all day long, but the budget doesn’t allow for that. That’s actually one of the reasons I signed up with Stampin Up originally, was to save money on my supplies. You can learn more about that here if you’re interested. As for today’s projects, I’m sharing some budget friendly card designs that use ONLY ink to create the design. Let’s take a look at them!

Stampin Up Fragrant Layers Bundle

Here is the stamp and die set I used to create these gorgeous cards. I didn’t even use the floral stamps on these cards, but just imagine how you can stamp flowers and layer a die cut image on top! There are tons of ways to use this set, but today I’m keeping it very simple with just one layer of cardstock and ink. 

How To Create Budget Friendly, One-Layer Cards

To create today’s cards, I followed these steps:

1. Create several die cuts which will be used as masks for ink blending.

2. Turn die cuts upside down. 

3. Use Multipurpose Glue (or another removable adhesive) on the backside. Allow to dry. 

4. Pat die cuts against your clothing several times to pick up a bit of lint, to remove a little bit of the sticky.

5. Place die cuts onto white card bases. 

6. Blend over the top as desired with blending brushes. 

7. Remove die cuts. 

8. Admire your beautiful creation!
