Making 9 Snowflake Cards in 25 Minutes! 

I’m so excited to share today’s projects with you! Christmas is approaching, which means many of us have a LOT of cards to make! I love sharing ideas for making a lot of cards at one time, and that’s what we are doing today. I created nine snowflake cards in 25 minutes, and the best part is, each one is unique! Let’s take a look at them.

Creating 9 Cards In 25 Minutes

To create these cards, I decided to use three different background, three different accent pieces, and three different greeting tags. Let’s start by looking at backgrounds. 

Background #1

For this one, I created a stamped snowflake background using the Delicate Pines stamp set. 

This was simple using my stamping platform.

Background #2

Here I used a blending brush and one mask from the Snowy Delights Mask Set to make these lovely snowflakes. 

Below you can see the mask that I used. The set has several others that can all be used together to created beautifully detailed snowflakes!

Background #3

I kept this one simple with some designer paper from the Peaceful Garden designer paper pack. Oh…I said we were creating snowflake cards today, didn’t I? If you’re upset that this one isn’t snowflakes, just pretend the doves are snowflakes instead!  

Accent #1

The first accent piece I used for three of the cards was simple – a 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ strip of glimmer paper. 

Accent #2

I love these embossed holly pieces. I created them using the Jolly Holly hybrid embossing folder, which creates a lot of holly leaves at once. The die is created to leave the pieces attached to the main paper, but I used snips to cut them out and use them individually. 

Accent #3

I used dies from the Patterned Tags die set, laid them all on my die cutting machine platform along with two die from the Peace On Earth die set, and cut them all out at once. I used two layers of cardstock, which allowed the top and bottom die cut to turn out slightly different, because the cut out pieces stayed attached to the bottom piece. Greeting #1

I used leftover strips of 1/2″ white cardstock and stamped greetings on them.

The Christmas Words Collage hybrid embossing folder allows you to create 19 embossed and die cut greetings at one time! Here are a few of them. 

Greeting #3

The Sign Design stamp and punch bundle is a favorite of mine right now. I love using stamp and punch bundles to create cute tags.
