5 Hacks For Quick Greeting Tags!

2 Oct

I’m so excited about the card making ideas I’m sharing with you today. You know that I love to come up with tips and tricks to make card making quicker, easier, and more fun, and today I’m sharing some of these ideas with you. Today’s tips relate specifically to making a lot of greeting tags quickly and easily. Let’s get started talking about some hacks for making quick greeting tags!

5 Hacks For Quick Greetings Video

Watch along here to see several awesome ideas for how to create a lot of greeting tags quickly!

5 Ways To Make Quick Greeting Tags

Here are five different ways to make greeting tags quickly and easily.

1. Punches

For my example here, I used a stamp and punch bundle called Stampin Up Sign Design, which is made to coordinate, but you can also use any of the tag punches in your collection and pair them with your favorite greeting stamps. Sometimes I prefer to stamp first then punch, and sometimes I prefer to punch tags and then stamp on them. Try out both and decide which is easier for you!

2. Genius Stamp & Die Sets

Here you can see the More Messages bundle. Whoever invented this is a genius! It is one stamp that stamps 19 greetings, and then one die that cuts ALL of them out. It is so easy to use.

If you prefer, you can also use the die to cut the shapes from plain cardstock and then personalize them with greeting stamps of your choice.

3. Label Dies

A great way to create a lot of greeting tags quickly is to grab your favorite label dies, fill your die cutting machine platform all the way up with them, crank to cut them, and then stamp greetings on them as you desire. I used the Traditional Labels bundle for these. Aren’t they pretty?

4. Hybrid Embossing Folders

Let’s talk about another genius idea – hybrid embossing folders. A hybrid embossing folder is an embossing folder that aligns with dies, which allows you to create several embossed images and then cut them out. I have two of these folders to share that allow you to cut tons of greeting tags quickly.

They’re called Thoughtful Moments, for everyday occasions, and Christmas Words Collage for holiday greeting tags. Make sure to watch along with the video to see exactly how these work!

5. Word Dies

Do you have any word dies in your collection? I have some sets that are all words, and I have some die sets that include one or two word dies. Pull those out, put some adhesive sheets on the back of your cardstock, then cut out a bunch of words at one time.

Stampin Up Snowy Delights Bundle

If you’ve been wondering about those pretty snowflake stamps and dies, I wanted to mention that I created them using the Snowy Delights bundle, with a few stamps thrown in from the Delicate Pines bundle which happens to coordinate.

I love that you can create extremely simple cards with this bundle, or elaborate ones as well.
