Bob Ross Cards – Make Cards Like Bob Ross!

Oh friends, are you in for a fun tutorial today! Don’t be intimidated, but we are going to channel our inner Bob Ross to make some beautiful natural scenes cards, and I really hope that you will try some of these yourself! You’re going to be amazed with your Bob Ross cards when you try them, I just know it. Let’s get started.

I used this stamp and die set along with a few tools and techniques to make today’s lovely cards. This set is just perfect for these natural scenes cards.

Let’s get started and I’ll share how I made each of these cards.

On this first card, I used a piece of Splendid Autumn designer series paper for the background. I created several tree die cuts with Mossy Meadow cardstock, and I added Pretty Peacock ink with a blending brush for some dimension. Anyone can make this card!

For my second card, I started with a white card base, a gray mountain die cut, and a few tree die cuts. The rest of what you see was added with ink! Lovely right? When I told my daughter I made this card, she wasn’t very impressed until I told her I started with plain cardstock. At that point, her mouth dropped open and she was suddenly impressed!

For this card, I started with plain white cardstock! I used a blending brush to add Calypso Coral and Lost Lagoon inks for both the water and the sky, and then I started adding the tree line in the distance. I just love how this one turned out.
