Fail Proof Card Making Anyone Can Do!

Today I’m sharing some of the simplest card projects I’ve ever created. When you think simple, you might think plain or boring, but these cards are anything but that. The key to these amazingly simple but nice card projects is a specialty paper pack that includes a variety of coordinating pieces including designer papers and die cuts. I discovered a few of these paper packs as I was browsing my craft space for video ideas one day. I realized there was a gold mine inside these little packs of paper. You’ll soon see why, as I share these ideas for fail proof card making!

Specialty Paper Packs

The paper packs I’m highlighting today are special because they include regular double sided papers to cut and use any way you choose PLUS coordinating die cut pieces. Some of them also include pre-printed pieces that I’m calling photo mats, even though they can be used on cards too. These pieces can be cut into rectangles on the dividing lines, and they make really neat decorative elements to add as well. I have three of these paper packs that I’m sharing below.

Storybook Moments

This pack is perfect for Easter, babies, children, gardening, and all-purpose lovely cards.

Frames & Flowers

This pack is simply beautiful and is perfect for all types of cards.

Wildflower Birthday

This is the pack I shared in the video. It includes two sheets of ‘photo mats,’ two sheets of die cuts, and several other sheets of double-sided paper.

This paper pack coordinates with the Birthday Celebration stamps and dies, which you can see below.

Using the items shown above, I created 10 card projects. For the greetings, I either used the elements in the pack or I stamped a greeting onto a small strip of white paper. Let’s take a look at the cards I created.
