Peaceful Pines Christmas Card

1 Nov

Who says Christmas cards have to be red and green? When I was coming up with a card for my last class, I had a flashback to a designer series paper pack from last Christmas that was blues, greens and purple. I liked it so much that I decided to make this card using the same colors.

I cut the oval out of the card front using the Big Shot and one of the Ovals dies. Then I used the Peaceful Pines stamp set and coordinating dies to make the trees in Island Indigo, Elegant Eggplant and Mint Macaron.

In the photo above you can see that the Elegant Eggplant trees are covered in glitter. After I stamped the trees and cut them out on the Big Shot, I added the glitter on top using the second method described in this post.
