*Card Making Hack* Stamp And Store Tons Of Tags In Minutes!

4 Apr

Oh my goodness friends, sometimes I just get so excited about my crafty endeavors! Today’s tip is one of those things that gets me excited! It’s been really helpful for me and I think it may help you too. Take a look!

Tip For Stamping Tons Of Tags

The Stamparatus is seriously my favorite stamping tool ever. I have some other favorites too, but the Stampatus is so stinking helpful! Recently I had the idea to place a lot of greetings onto the plate and stamp them all at the same time. Then I trimmed them apart with my trimmer. It was such a time saver! Then I started thinking about more ways to use this idea. Let’s take a look at them…

Stamp Different Greetings At Even Increments

For these, I lined them up 1″ apart. I stamped the four greetings one time at the top, then lifted my plate out, moved it down to the fourth notch and stamped again.

Stamp The Same Greeting Repeatedly

If you want a lot of the same greeting for Christmas cards or another project, just mount your preferred stamp to the plate. Stamp once, lift the plate out and move it down one notch, stamp again, and repeat.

Stamping Small Greetings

For these, I lined them up 1″ apart. I stamped once, then moved my paper down 1/2″ and stamped again.

Fill The Entire Plate!l

I only stamped one set of greetings at a time, but you could do two or even three ‘columns’ of stamps on the plate at one time!

Trimming Them Apart

To trim the tags apart, I lined the paper up on my trimmer and cut every 1″ or 1/2″ to separate the tags. Watch along with the video for a visual demonstration.

Space Them Out For Use With Punches

Instead of cutting the greetings with a trimmer, what if you prefer to use punches for your greetings? Just allow more space between them on the Stamparatus to allow for the size of your punch.

I used the Label Me Fancy punch for these, which is getting ready to retire.

How To Store Your Tons Of Tags

Once you have all these tags, you’ll definitely need a way to store them. I keep mine in a tackle box, which I talk more about here. I sort them by occasion, including birthday, congrats, thinking of you, just because, love, and friendship.
