Quick Tip To Hold Ribbon While Tying Bows!

6 Dec

Hi friends, and thanks for stopping in! I have a really quick tip to share with you today. Here it is!

Hold Ribbon In Place

When you’re tying twine or ribbon around a card layer and are trying to hold it tight while tying the bow, do you ever get frustrated?

See how loose the bow below is? There’s an easy way to fix this problem – let me share it with you!

Next time, use reverse tweezers to hold it in place while you tie the bow. Just cross your strings, then use the tweezers to hold them while you form the loops.

Once you make your loops and are ready to tighten the bow, gently pull the tweezers out and tighten it up. Watch along with the video to see this in action!

Do you already have a pair of reverse tweezers in your collection? If so, try this today! I do have to say that the reverse tweezers I’m using here, which come in our Embossing Additions Tool Kit, are better than any other tweezers I’ve used in the past! They have a much stronger hold, which is important for this bow tying trick.

I also love to use these tweezers to hold paper while I’m heat embossing.
