Mailing Your Cards? Protect Them In The Mail!!

13 Oct

Do you ever worry that your beautiful handmade cards might not make it to their destination safely? Have you ever received a handmade card with the envelope ripped because of embellishments on the card inside? When we put time and love into these creations, we want them to get to their destination safely. Today I have three quick ways to protect your cards, especially those with embellishments, on their voyage through the mail.

Protect Cards When Mailing

Here are three easy ways to protect your cards.

Mailing your cards? Protect them in the mail with these quick tips!

Thin Foam Packing Material

You can find this in the shipping materials section of your local store or online. Cut a piece just smaller than the size of your card, and place it on top of the card front.

Piece Of Cardstock

Since you already have cardstock in your collection, you can lay an extra piece over the front of the card. This protects your card nearly as well as the foam packing material mentioned above, and you don’t need to add one more thing to your craft collection.

Fold The Card Inside Out

This is a creative way to protect your card. You can actually fold it inside out, so any embellishments would be on the inside. Place it in the envelope and it’s ready to send!
