Hi friends, and welcome! Today I want to share a technique that I’ve shared in the past. It’s a classic that always produces beautiful results on projects. It’s the good ole’ baby wipe technique where you use ink drops on a baby wipe as your ink pad. Why is it so amazing? Because you can stamp multiple colors using just one stamp. One of my cards uses the Stampin Up Boughs & Blossoms stamp set that will be released in just a few days with the new Stampin Up January-June Mini Catalog AND Sale-a-bration! Fun, fun! The Baby Wipe Ink Pad
To create your multicolored ink pad, you’ll need to drop ink droplets onto a baby wipe. I like to lay a baby wipe, folded in half, inside one of our empty stamp cases (which can be ordered in packs of 4) and then begin adding ink. You can see my ‘ink pad’ below.
Are you wondering what colors I used on these cards? The Stampin Up Boughs & Blossoms card shown above uses Magenta Madness, Pale Papaya, Calypso Coral, Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, and Just Jade.
The poinsettia card uses Poppy Parade, Melon Mambo, Merry Merlot, Real Red, Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen, Pear Pizzazz, and Garden Green.
