How To Clean Acrylic Blocks In The Dishwasher With This Easy Trick!

16 Mar

Welcome! Do your stamping blocks ever start looking a little messy, especially after a big project? I can relate. A few weeks ago I hosted a Stamp Camp, and afterwards my entire collection of stamping blocks was in need of a good cleaning. Well, today I have an extremely easy tip on how to clean acrylic blocks in the dishwasher. You’re going to love this, so let me show you how I do this!

Do you know how to clean acrylic blocks in the dishwasher? They'll be sparkly new in no time!

How To Clean Acrylic Blocks

Whenever I have lots of acrylic blocks that need cleaned and I don’t want to sit and clean them by hand, I simply wash them in the dishwasher. It’s incredibly easy to do and takes very little effort on my part. So let’s get started washing those blocks 🙂

Do you know how to clean acrylic blocks in the dishwasher? They'll be sparkly new in no time! Let me show you how easy it is.

Below is a short list of what you’ll need.

Materials:

  • Messy Acrylic Blocks
  • Cooking Colander (Dishwasher Safe)
  • Dishwasher Detergent

Instructions:

Gather up all your acrylic blocks, and place them into a cooking colander like the one pictured here. You can even put acrylic blocks in the silverware holder if you need more space or don’t have a colander on hand. Add your usual detergent – any brand will do the job just fine. Set your dishwasher to normal settings and wait for it to do all the work.

It really is that simple. Once the dishwasher is done cleaning your acrylic blocks, simply take them out and dry them off. They will be sparkling clean and ready for your next project!
