Block Stamping Technique Flower Card

4 Jan

I needed a quick card for today. Super quick. My process for making cards doesn’t always go fast to say the least. Today I had about 1o minutes to throw something together and that was all. I saw this easy block stamping technique while doing some Pinterest browsing yesterday, so I decided to try it out. I chose to use two stamp sets that are Sale-a-bration gift options – Hello and What I Love.

To do the block stamping techinque, I inked clear block C with Sahara Sand ink. I stamped off onto scrap paper, then stamped on my card. Repeat two more times! That’s it! I would suggest using a Stampin’ Pierce mat underneath your card when you stamp since the block itself doesn’t have any cushion.

I stamped those gorgeous flowers using the What I Love stamp set. There are three different stamps to create each flower. I stamped the first one with Perfect Plum stamped off. The second one I used Perfect Plum and then I used Elegant Eggplant for the detail stamp.

I added Itty Bitty Accents epoxy stickers to the flower centers. They were the perfect touch!
